A public hearing on the Levy and Tax Assessment Rate for Northlake Public Library District for FY 2014/2015 will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014. The meeting will be held at the library located at 231 North Wolf Road, Northlake, IL.

This hearing will be immediately followed by the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees.

2. Adopt Ordinance #14-560, Providing for Levying and Assessing Taxes for 2014  (Action)
3. Adopt Ordinance #14-561, An Ordinance Directing Against Proportional Reduction in the Aggregate Extension of the 2014 Tax Levy of the Northlake Public Library District (Action)
4. Adopt Ordinance #14-562, An Ordinance providing for the issuance of not to exceed $5,900,000 General Obligation Refunding Bonds of the Northlake Public Library District, Cook County, Illinois, for the purpose of refunding certain outstanding bonds of said Library District, and providing for the levy of a direct annual tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on said bonds. (Action)
5. Close Library for Staff In-Service Day – Dec. 5, 2014  (Action)
6. Approval of Library Closing Dates for 2015 (Action)

PUBLIC DISCUSSION

Members of the public are invited to speak to the board. Comments are to be limited to three minutes or less. Due to open meetings act restrictions, actions may not be taken on items not already on the agenda, but action may be deferred to a later board meeting.

The next Board meeting is scheduled for November 20, 2014.
