AARP Foundation Tax-Aid helps low-and moderate-income taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 and older. Volunteers are trained to assist in filing tax forms and certain schedules, including the form 1040. Tax payers with complex tax returns or in instances where the counselors feels they do not have adequate training will be advised to see paid tax assistance or assistance from another counselor who is qualfied to do the return.  See Adult Services for details.  Tax help available by appointment only on the following dates: Tuesday, March 6, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 9 a.m. -1 p.m. and Tuesday, April 3, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  Please sign up in Adult Services.
